"When you look into yourself, the very effort involved extends the limitations of your consciousness, expands it, and allows the egotistical self to use its abilities that it often does not realize it possesses."

BIOGRAPHY:

I have always been a healer. I can see how my journey through life has gradually led me in a very patient fashion toward realizing that healing is my life task. My fascination with the body started when I was very young. As a young child I loved movement and dance. As a teenager I became very interested in anatomy and physiology and considered being a doctor. In college my first major was psychology because I was fascinated with human behavior. But it was in Dance that I found the experience of presence and connectedness (the experience of healing) that I had never known before. Later in graduate school, I studied movement as a therapeutic tool for personal growth. I considered the possibility that the deep awareness of movement patterns was key to healing vicious cycles of subconscious behavior.

Putting this awareness in the back of my mind, it became the ground of my teaching for the next two and a half decades. I needed a lot of practice. Teaching at the University of Colorado, UCLA, and California State University, Fullerton, I enjoyed helping students release their creative process. Seeing how this affected students in a therapeutic way rekindled my excitement and desire to use movement more specifically for personal growth and healing. I had seen so much change in my students from doing the movement work I had designed to help them discover their artistry in performance and creativity. I was healing intuitively and longed for a deeper understanding of what I had touched into during graduate school. I was accidentally helping students to move energy and release blocks. I wanted to know more about how this was happening and longed for my own healing. I was led to Reiki Healing and then, Brennan Healing Science.

The training and experience I received at the Brennan School helped me integrate my life purpose. Healing has become a way of being in the world. I am a teacher/healer/artist/mother/wife. The roles are not separate, but unified by the creative process itself. Co-creating through my experience and relationships, I find connection to deeper truth. This connection is the healing.

I continue to teach at the University on a limited basis along with doing my healing practice. I deeply enjoy the one-on-one and group work with my healing clients, fusing my technique of Conscious Movement with Brennan Healing Science.

Come join me on this healing path and embrace your powerful unfolding aliveness!

and pupil are located in the same individual."
